Monday, January 01, 2007 Happy New Year!! Hello Penguins! First of all, thanks for making this Christmas party the biggest ever! We all had a lot of fun and we hope you did too! Now that were starting a new year, we've got even more cool stuff planned for Club Penguin. There will be new games, new parties, new catalogs, new features, new rooms and a lot more! I'll give you more details as soon as I can. We also wanted to take a minute to thank you for playing this year. The fact is, you are what makes Club Penguin so great! I hope you all made it through the storm and are having a lot of fun with all the new snow! I just wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy Chanukah from the Club Penguin Team. We've been working on adding more servers to every country before the big Christmas party starts and we had to do a last minute shut down to get everything ready. It should be back to normal now and hopefully we won't have to do that again for a long time. We apologize if you tried to log in during that time. Thanks for your patience! In other news: Many of you have noticed the new game that is up in the Lounge above the Night Club. It is a puzzle game that, if played well, can earn a lot of coins! Let us know what you think. Hopefully you're already enjoying the Holiday season, but we decided to give you one more way to celebrate. The first ever Snow Globe igloo was launched today and it is a lot of fun! Just upgrade your igloo, redecorate with your furniture, add some great music, and you've got the makings of an awesome party! I just wanted to let you know that Captain Rockhopper has been spotted hanging out around Club Penguin! He goes on many different servers at different times of the days so don't worry if you don't see him right away. He may show up at any time! Keep your eyes open because he's known to hang out at The Pirate Ship, The Docks, The Iceberg, and other fun spots around Club Penguin! If you see him, say "Hi" for me! Until then... I just wanted to show you some cool new things we've added to the Club Penguin website. New Store Stuff: We just added a few new items you've been asking for starting with cute little miniature puffles on key chains. We've also added a new "black puffle" shirt that we know you're going to love. We're working on a similar "purple puffle" shirt that will be coming soon. Gift Cards: Many of you have been asking for them and we finally have them ready. Now if you want a membership for Christmas or your Birthday, this makes it even easier. Click on the "Gift Card" link on the home page for more information. In other news: Some exciting stuff is coming on Captain Rockhopper's ship.
